Ryker Enterprises is currently seeking full and part-time private investigators. We are accepting resumes from potential candidates possessing the skills described below.
AGE: At least 21 years of age.
CITIZENSHIP: United States citizen.
EDUCATION: High School diploma. A 2-year degree or higher in criminal justice or industry-related fields is preferred. Must be proficient and fluent in English, verbal and written.
PHYSICAL CONDITION: Non-smoker. Healthy Body Mass Index (BMI) at a “low to moderate” level based upon age and weight. No life-threatening illnesses or debilitating injuries. Able to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
VEHICLE: Must have a dependable vehicle with valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and registration.
BACKGROUND CHECK: Pass background check with fingerprint card, to include a clean criminal record and driving history.
CLASSROOM: A minimum of 70-hours of classroom instruction. Online training is available to meet this requirement.
FIREARMS: On a case-by-case basis. If a firearm is needed, law enforcement personnel must have a qualifying score of 80%. Non-law enforcement, a minimum of 15-hours of firearms instruction with a qualifying score of 80%. Annual weapon qualification is required.
LICENSE: Individual must be licensed and maintain their license in good standing.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: A minimum of 16-hours of yearly continuing education.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities for a private investigator include the following:
To conduct various types of investigations as requested by clients through surveillance and background checks.
To obtain video and photographic evidence of a subject’s visible activities.
To be able to clearly and concisely formulate an accurate report outlining a subject’s activities.
Own a suitable and approved surveillance vehicle, lap top computer, and video camera and all other equipment necessary to perform duties.
Must be willing to travel, to include over state lines and overnight stays.
Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays and nights.
